A few recent pieces for Seattle Weekly:

"What Becomes of Animal Rights Activists After the Action Is Over?" published 10/4/17

Having done every imaginable form of physical labor - from shoveling tons of manure to cleaning pools - I long ago learned that writing was a more engaging way to move upward and onward. I've written for a wide array of formats. Examples include two (unpublished but available for review) novels, radio news for National Public Radio, patent applications, political opposition research, and freelance fake-news pieces funded by a porn magnate. Until now, I had not tried my hand at book-length narrative non-fiction. Pelting Out illustrates this change of direction in my writing lifetime. It's proven the one which has excited me the most.
